Our Story
The concept for Red Barn Communications was born in 2015 when the founder, Amanda, realized the gap in digital marketing services tailored specifically for the rural entities, nonprofits and small businesses that are so critical in helping rural communities thrive. Assisting in bringing best practice strategies to these areas, she considers it an honor to guide in growing and sustaining the unique entities that are so vital to prosperous small local economies.
As a former executive at an international advertising agency, Amanda made the decision to ‘jump off the treadmill’ of corporate America and live a more intentional and meaningful life. Moving back to the small community where she grew up, she now lives on the family farm and continues to work in the marketing world serving a variety of clients. Volunteering for various nonprofits in the community has become a true passion and she enthusiastically brings others to the table in various capacities to help everyone ‘live the dream’. Part of hers is managing the flock of free range hens that provide wholesome eggs supporting the local agricultural cooperative.
